Your women’s health exam begins with an assessment of your weight, body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, pulse, and other vital signs. Dr. Syed reviews your medications, medical history, symptoms, and lifestyle habits.

During a physical exam, she assesses your overall health. Dr. Syed may complete a mental health evaluation, breast exam, pelvic exam, or Pap test. She might suggest heart function tests or blood testing to screen for high cholesterol, hormone imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, arthritis, diabetes, and chronic conditions that many women face.

If you need vaccinations, birth control, medication prescriptions, or other treatments, Dr. Syed tailors a plan that optimizes your health outcomes. She can refer you to other specialists if you have a severe or complex medical condition.
